Discover Medical Devices is led by a team of seasoned executives who have many years of experience in founding and managing successful companies, as well as well-known medical experts in the field of sleep medicine.

  • Eran Lavi – CEO, Co-Founder
    Mr. Lavi has more than 25 years of experience in founding and managing successful companies. Before co-founding Discover Medical Devices, he was the CEO of three other companies, including EpiSafe Medical Devices, Electronic Thinking Systems and InfoGold. Previously, he was the Founder and VP Marketing for OT, a large national projects and manpower company.
    Mr. Lavi holds a B.Sc. in Physics and an Executive MBA, both from Tel Aviv University. He has seven patents, registered and pending, in various fields.
  • Dr. David Madjar – Chief Medical Officer, Co-Founder
    Dr. Madjar has more than 20 years of experience in the field of Oral Rehabilitation.  He was the head of the Department of Oral Rehabilitation and the Head of the Oral Postgraduate Program at the Sheba Medical Center in Israel, as well as a member of the prosthodontics subcommittee for the Ministry of Health’s Scientific Council.
    Dr. Madjar holds a D.M.D. from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
  • Prof. Giora Pillar – Chief Medical Consultant, Board of Advisors
    With more than 15 years of experience in the field of Sleep Medicine, Prof. Pillar is the Head
    of the Sleep Lab at the Rambam Medical Center, Director of the Pediatrics Department at Carmel Hospital and an Associate Professor of sleep at the Technion.
    Prof. Pillar holds a B.SC, an M.D. and a D.Sc. in Sleep Research from the Technion in Haifa.
  • Prof. Asher Tal – Member, Board of Advisors
    Prof. Tal is currently the head of the Pediatrics B Department at the Soroka Medical Center in Beer Sheva, Israel. Previously, he was Chairman of the Division of Pediatrics in the Faculty of Health Sciences at Ben-Gurion University in Beer Sheva. Prof. Tal is also the chief physician for the Millenium Sleep Laboratory, an eight bed private sleep center in Beer-Sheva, Israel.
    Prof. Tal holds an M.D. from the Technion in Haifa, Israel.
  • Prof. Jan Hedner – Member, Board of Advisors
    Professor Hedner is currently a professor of  Sleep Medicine and the head of the Sleep Laboratory Service, both at Sahlgrenska University Hospital in Gothenburg (Sweden). Previously, he was the Chairman of the Swedish Sleep Research Society (1998-2002)
    Prof. Hedner holds an M.D. and a PhD from the University of Gothenburg.
